Aditya Pittie is an accomplished entrepreneur, angel investor, author, and policy thought leader. He is the owner of Pittie Enterprises Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests in precision automotive and aerospace components, solar energy, fintech, real estate, and venture capital investments. His family founded Pune’s first major industry –The Raja Bahadur Motilal Poona Mills Ltd, circa 1893.
Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Aditya is actively involved in nation-building efforts. He serves as Convenor (Western Maharashtra) of the BJP Intellectual Cell, shaping discussions on policy, governance, and economic transformation.
Aditya graduated first in his class and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also holds a Master of Science S.M. / MBA degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Aditya is an active angel investor and startup mentor for the Atal Innovation Mission, Government of India, and Atal Incubation Centre-Rambhau Mhalgi Prabhodhini. He is also a Founder Board Member of Rishihood University and a Past President of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).
He has recently authored a groundbreaking book, Viksit Bharat India @2047, which presents a comprehensive, data-driven blueprint charting India’s transformation into a developed nation by its 100th year of independence. The book meticulously explores India’s ambitious journey towards becoming a global economic powerhouse with a projected economy exceeding $30 trillion.
He has also previously co-authored the book – Modi’s North East Story, which documents the transformation of India’s North East states since 2014 under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
He frequently writes articles and Op-Eds and appears on national television, digital, and print media.

Family History
Aditya is a scion of the notable Pittie family – founders of The Raja Bahadur Motilal Poona Mills Ltd. circa 1893.
The Raja Bahadur Motilal Poona Mills Ltd. was founded towards the end of 19th century of pre-independent India and was incorporated as a Public Limited Company in 1926 for carrying out the manufacture of textile products. The textile company was founded in 1893 by Raja Mukundlal Pittie, who named it after his father.
The company further diversified and were pioneers in the manufacturing of drawing office/reprographic equipment, mini drafters and high precision machine tool accessories. The products of the Company are sold under the brand name “PITTIE“, which came to be accepted as a mark of quality by the public and private sectors, across the length and breadth of the country.
